How it Works:

Cholesterol Health™ is a combination of alpha-linolenic acid, an omega-3 fatty acid from crushed Nordic flaxseed oil, and plant sterols that support heart health and healthy cholesterols levels already within normal limits.*

Alpha-Linolenic Acid (ALA):
Flaxseed (Linium usitataissimum) oil is a rich source of alpha-linolenic acid, an omega-3 fatty acid that supports the body’s anti-inflammatory response and healthy cellular structure, including the structure of healthy blood vessels and arteries.1

Plant Sterols:
Because of their structural similarity to cholesterol, plant sterols are able to take up the sites in the intestines where cholesterol would otherwise be absorbed.2,3

Q: Why do I still have health concerns with cholesterol even though I don’t eat high cholesterol foods?

Simple – genetics. Our bodies naturally produce cholesterol – sometimes up to 1,000 mg a day! For some people, that means that even following a strict diet isn’t quite enough to maintain healthy cholesterol balance the way they’d like.

Q: When is the best time to take Cholesterol Health?

For the best results, take Cholesterol Health just before or with a meal. That way the plant sterols can take the “parking spaces” in the intestines where cholesterol would normally be absorbed. However, since our bodies produce cholesterol, Cholesterol Health can be beneficial at any time of the day.

Q: Are the plant sterols absorbed?

Yes, but by filling up those absorption sites in the digestive tract, they block out the absorption of cholesterol, allowing it to be excreted naturally by the body.
