Dieter's Choice for Carb Control™

A highly concentrated, enteric coated white kidney bean extract, Dieter’s Choice for Carb Control™ aids in weight loss by reducing the conversion of starches to sugar, thereby reducing the amount of carbohydrates that can be absorbed from food. The enteric coating prevents the breakdown of the tablet until it reaches the lower intestine where carbohydrate digestion occurs. Because the extract is highly concentrated only a small amount of the key ingredient is required to yield beneficial results.

Purified White Kidney Bean Extract (Phaseolus vulgaris)
Alpha-amylase, an enzyme secreted in the saliva and by the pancreas, is responsible for breaking down starches into sugars that are absorbed in the small intestine. When used in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise, white kidney bean promotes weight loss by inhibiting the activity of this enzyme so that fewer carbohydrates (sugars) are available for absorption.* 1-4

Dieter's Choice for Carb Control™

Max-Phase™
Concentrated and Purified 2mg dosage*

Product Number: 10460 - 60 Mini-Tablets

Dietary Supplement

1 tablet three times daily with meals.

Dieter’s Choice for Carb Control™ is the only phaseolamin that is highly concentrated and purified so only 2 mg per meal is required, versus 1,000-1,500 mg from other extracts that are not concentrated and are not enteric coated. Sure-Release™ enteric coating guarantees stomach acid survival and intestinal delivery so that the necessary activity of phaseolamin will reach the area of the lower intestine where amylase is released and digesting occurs.

Stronger and More Concentrated for Superior Results

Each Sure-Release™ mini tab (patented) may assist in weight control by reducing the enzymatic digestion of dietary starches (carbohydrates). Therefore the calories found in carbs may not be absorbed, reducing your total intake of grams and calories on a daily basis. Reducing 500-1000 calories per day will assist you in losing 1-2 pounds per week.*

A long-lasting weight loss program should include a balanced nutrition plan and regular exercise. As with any weight loss program, consult a physician.

Did You Know?

Fats, protein, and carbohydrates are the three major nutrient types needed for survival. Each food type has a specific kind of enzyme that breaks it down into small molecules that can pass through the intestinal wall into the bloodstream. Fats are broken down into fatty acids and glycerol by lipase, protein into amino acids by protease, and carbohydrates into glucose (sugar) by amylase. While we need all of these nutrients, Americans tend to “overconsume” – particularly simple carbohydrates high in added sugars. In fact, the average American consumes 2-3 lbs of sugar a week.
