Hair Renew Formula™

Many factors have an impact on hair growth and quality, including stress, poor sleep, changes in hormone levels, and more. However, scientific research has also found that there are a number of nutrients that help promote beautiful shiny hair and sustain new hair growth.

Vitamin A retinyl palmitate
Vitamin A as retinyl palmitate is converted in the body to the active form, retinoic acid, which is important for hair follicles. Vitamin A also promotes healthy levels of sebum production, which is important for hair growth.*1,2

Vitamin E
natural mixed tocopherols Vitamin E is an important antioxidant which is particularly active in the outer layers of the skin, where it helps protect skin and hair cells from oxidative damage.*3

Riboflavin, Vitamin B6, Folic acid, Biotin, Pantothenic acid
The B vitamins aid in the absorption of L-methione and L-cysteine and provide energy for cell growth - important for fast growing cells such as the cells in hair follicles.*4,5

Zinc
Zinc supplementation helps to improve hair quality, particularly for dry, brittle hair.*6-8

L-cysteine and L-methionine
These amino acids are the essential buildings blocks for keratin formation. Keratin is the specialized protein that makes up hair and nails.*9

Millet (Panicum milaceum)
Millet seed contains miliacin, a special plant compound that enhances the activity and growth of keratinocytes, the cells that produce keratin. In a clinical test, participants consuming millet seed oil had significantly better hair quality than those who did not receive the supplement.10

Sunflower seed oil (Helianthus annus) and soy
EFA are important for healthy skin and normal hair growth, and can help skin and hair retain moisture.*11-13

Silica (Equisetum arvense)
Silica is a trace mineral found in bones and fast growing tissues such as hair, skin, and fingernails, which are especially dependent on silica for strength and resilience. It’s also a major building block of collagen, which is one of the constituents of hair and hair follicles.*14,15

Hair Renew Formula™

Hair is composed of keratin, a special protein that is also found in skin and nails. Each hair, contained in a follicle, goes through regular cycles of growth and rest. Scalp hair grows about ½ an inch per month. The typical person loses about 50-100 hairs every day. Many factors have an impact on hair growth and quality, including stress, poor sleep, changes in hormone levels, and more. Shampoos and conditioners can help keep hair clean and soft. However, scientific research has also found that there are a number of nutrients that help promote beautiful shiny hair and sustain new hair growth.
